Jason Noblitt

Freshmen Head Coach
Coach Noblitt is a Huntsville native in his third year of coaching at HHS, his alma mater. With 11 years of coaching experience, he has been a great addition to an already strong staff. In the classroom, he teaches Biology and Anatomy & Physiology. He earned his bachelor's degree from Auburn University and his master's degree from Alabama A & M University. He and his wife, Stacy, have three children: Jake (11), Caroline (9), and Tyler (3). According to him, the best part of coaching at Huntsville High is "finally being back home!"

Defensive Line
Coach Balentine is from Tuscumbia, Alabama. This is his 17th season at HHS where he teaches Driver's Ed and is also the head wrestling coach. Coach Balentine received his bachelor's degree from UNA and his master's at Alabama A & M University. What he enjoys most is being a part of a great group of coaches.

Freshmen Assistant Coach
Coach Steigerwald returns to his alma mater to begin his coaching career. He is completing his teaching certification at Athens State University. He will be working at HHS this year. He is excited and fees truly blessed to have the opportunity to join the HHS coaching staff.

Freshman Assistant Coach
Coach Nickelson proudly returns to his alma mater to join the HHS football coaching staff, after seven years of coaching football at Buckhorn High School, and Chapman and Huntsville Middle Schools, He has coached wrestling at HHS for the past five years. While a student at HHS, Coach Nickelson played football for Coach Wieseman and wrestled for Coach Balentine. He is a graduate of Auburn University where he earned a B.S. in Secondary Education. He teaches Civics and Geography at HMS. He and his wife, Laura, are happy to be joining the HHS football family.
